ISN’T WRITTEN CAMPAIGN
To support its largest ever graduate and intern recruitment drive, Microsoft UK set out to create a bold, reimagined campaign; one designed not only to attract attention, but to genuinely connect with a new generation of talent. Recognising that graduates are driven by more than just career progression, the campaign needed to reflect shifting priorities around purpose, inclusion, flexibility, and meaningful impact.
The campaign centred around authentic, aspirational imagery captured working with a photographer during a shoot at Microsoft’s Thames Valley Park Campus that showcased real interns and graduates. These shots represent a diverse group of young people excited about their potential futures with Microsoft.
Playful line illustrations were also layered throughout the campaign collateral. These illustrations symbolised imagination, their dreams and untapped potential, a metaphor that each individual’s path is still being written. This campaign successfully positioned Microsoft across digital, social and campus recruitment channels, highlighting its commitment to empowering young talent to shape the future rather than simply follow it. These examples illustrate how the campaign was adapted seamlessly from large-format print to online digital assets.
